Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using meOwgenda ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Description of Service
meOwgenda is a minimalist to-do list app for iOS, macOS, and Android. It allows you to create, manage, and reschedule tasks. Your data is stored locally on your device. On Apple devices, your data can optionally be synced across your devices via iCloud.
meOwgenda includes an AI-assisted task entry feature that can process spoken input and captured images (such as appointment cards or calendar invites) to create timed and dated tasks. By default, this processing is performed entirely on your device using on-device speech-to-text and language model capabilities.
The app is designed to work entirely offline. Internet access, camera, microphone, and calendar access are only required for optional features and are never needed for core task management functionality.
Subscriptions & Purchases
meOwgenda offers the following purchase options:
- Subscription: $1.99/month, with a free trial. The subscription automatically renews each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Lifetime purchase: $7.99 one-time payment for permanent access to all features.
Free Trial
New subscribers are eligible for a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription at $1.99/month. You will not be charged during the trial period.
Payment & Renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (iOS/macOS) or Google Play account (Android) upon confirmation of purchase or at the end of the free trial period.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your current subscription plan.
Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's settings:
Apple (iOS/macOS):
- Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Select meOwgenda
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Android:
- Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions
- Select meOwgenda
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then. Refund policies are governed by Apple or Google Play, respectively.
AI-Assisted Task Entry
meOwgenda's AI-assisted task entry feature uses on-device processing by default. You may optionally enable cloud-based AI processing by providing your own API key for a supported third-party service (Anthropic or OpenAI). By enabling this feature, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for maintaining your own account and API key with the third-party AI service.
- Your use of third-party AI services is subject to that provider's terms of service and usage policies.
- Any costs incurred from API usage are between you and the third-party provider. meOwgenda does not charge for or manage third-party API usage.
- AI-generated task entries are provided as suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of any tasks created through AI processing.
- meOwgenda does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party AI service.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use meOwgenda only for its intended purpose as a personal task management tool. You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the app
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws
Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, and code in meOwgenda are owned by meOwgenda and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app.
Disclaimer of Warranties
meOwgenda is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, meOwgenda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
